Healthy Smoothie Recipes

Be it during working hours or before and after workout. Having a nice and cold drink can rejuvenate life within the body.

It becomes even better when the drink you are taking is full of nutrients and vitamins. And that’s why smoothies are awesome thing.

Having a smoothie blended from all healthy ingredients can help both body and mind relax and digest all the exhaustion and stress in the body.

Furthermore, it poses no harm as long as natural and safe ingredients are used to blend it. Here are some naturally blended healthy smoothies’ recipe that you can try-


        1.    Babe Ruth Strawberry Pineapple Banana Smoothie:

Ingredients-

·         1 Medium Banana

·         1 Tablespoon Chia or Flaxseeds or both (optional)

·         1/2 cup of Pineapple

·         2 cups of Orange Juice

·         1/2 cup of Greek Yogurt

·         1 cup of Strawberries

·         1 cup Spinach optional

·         If you wish you can also add some Ice to it.

 

DIRECTIONS

Mix them all up nicely in a blender and Wala.

 

        2.    Chocolate Powerhouse Smoothie:

Ingredients-

·         1 cup Coconut Milk

·         1 scoop Chocolate Protein Powder

·         1 Banana

·         1 cup Spinach

·         1/2 cup Blueberries

·         1 Tablespoon Almond Butter

·         If you wish you can also add some Ice to it.

 

DIRECTIONS

Mix them all up nicely in a blender and Wala.

 

 

        3.    Green Shake-

INGREDIENTS

·         1 and 1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk

·         1 cup of chopped spinach (fresh or frozen)

·         1/2 cup of chopped kale (fresh or frozen)

·         1 medium-banana

·         2 tbsp of almond butter

·         1 tbsp of chia seeds

·         2 tbsp of honey

 

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

 

                     4.Chocolate Peanut Butter Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

·         1 cup milk (your choice — dairy milk, almond milk, etc.)

·         1 frozen chopped Medium-banana.

·         1 cup of fresh spinach

·         3 tbsp of peanut butter

·         3 tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder

·         2 tbsp of chia seeds (optional)

·         1 or 2 tbsp of honey (if needed)

·         ½ tsp vanilla extract

Method:

Mix all ingredients in a blender perfectly. Serve with mini chocolate chips if you like.


              5.Green Tea Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

·         1 cup green tea, chilled

·         1/3 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt

·         1/2-pint raspberries (about 1 cup)

·         1 large frozen banana

·         1 tablespoon honey

·         1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

·         1/2 cup ice

INSTRUCTIONS

1.    Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.



    6.Coffee Smoothie-

Ingredients

·         1 cup strong brewed coffee

·         1 banana

·         1/4- cup rolled oats

·         1 tablespoon cocoa powder

·         1 tablespoon flaxseeds meal

·         1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

·         1 cup soy milk or almond milk

·         1 teaspoon honey

Instructions

·         Freeze your Coffee to make Coffee ice-cubes.

·         Combine all the ingredients in a blender with the coffee cubes and blend until smooth.

·         Add sweetener according to taste.

Calories: 144 kcal

 


             7.Pear-Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients-

·         1 cup of fresh spinach.

·         ¾ cup of Greek yogurt.

·         1 Bartlett pear.

·         ½" a piece of ginger (grated).

·         Handful of ice.



8.Banana Smoothie

Ingredients-

·         1 Green Teabag

·         2 tbsp of Honey

·         1 and a half cup of frozen Berries

·         Half of a Medium Banana

·         ¾ Cup of Calcium-fortified Light Vanilla Soy Milk

Direction-

·         Heat three tablespoons of water in a bowl and a brew a green tea for three minutes in it.

·         Mix the rest of the ingredients with the tea in a blender.

        9.  Very Berry Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients-

·         1 Cup of frozen Raspberries

·         ¾ Cup of cold unsweetened Almond Milk

·         ¼ Cup of frozen Pitted Cherries.

·         1 and a ½ Cup of Honey

·         2 tbsp of grated Fresh Ginger

·         1 tbsp of grounded flaxseed

·         2 tbsp of Lemon juice

Direction-

Mix all the ingredients in blender until a smooth consistency comes.

           10. Berry Good Workout Smoothie

Ingredients-

·         1 and a ½ Cup of Chopped Strawberries.

·         1 Cup of Blueberries.

·         ½ Cup of Raspberries.

·         2 tbsp of Honey.

·         1 tbsp of Fresh Lemon juice.

·         ½ Cup of Ice.

·         1 tbsp of Organic Kale Powder. (Optional).

Ingredients:

·         1 tbsp of chia seeds

·         1 medium banana

·         ¼ cup of Rolled oats

·         1 tbsp of Peanut butter

·         1-3 ice cubes (Optional)

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 

 


              12. Banana Walnut Bliss 

Ingredients-

 

·         2 cups of Skim Milk

·         Handful Walnut 

·         1 large Banana

·         1 tbsp of Honey

·         1/4 tsp of Vanilla extract

Blend all ingredients together.

Ingredients-

 

·         1 large Chopped Pitted Grapefruit.

Ingredients-

·         1 Medium or Large Banana.

·         Dried Dates.

·         2 cups of cold water.

·         1 tbsp of ground flaxseed.

·         1 tbsp of Hemp protein

·         1 tbsp of Roasted Carob powder or Raw Cacao nibs.
